Ashlee's favorite story is about her grandmother. "She always told us we were special. We have always been connected to someone in our family to the point where we can feel when something is going on with them. My cousin Tanya and I have always had that connection. I knew when she was taken to the hospital for a concussion an hour before my aunt called. My gran and I had it too. When I was pregnant with Travis, the last time I saw her before she died, she and I were laying in her room and she put her hand on my stomach. She giggled and said 'I may not get to be here but I am finally going to get my great grandson.' She then went on to describe what he was going to look like when he was born. She wasn't far off either."
