A few words on Japan
For starters its a beautiful place surrounded by nature!
Born in Tokyo, Japan in a residential area. He arrived here three weeks ago and has been studying fifteen hours a day. Yutaro will go back May 28th to attend a University in Japan. "Two months ago I took the exam and next year I want to try again to go to University. It's hard to enter but easy to graduate." After Japan, He wants to come back as an exchange student, for now he's just visiting.
Yutaro doesn't often go to church, but he enjoys church music. "Singing is popular in Japan but as for me we don't have time to do that."
Japanese people mostly eat rice and fish, Yutaro said, "Almost every day I eat Japanese soup."
As a child Yaturo dreamed of being a soccer player, his parents even got him a soccer ball. When he was sixteen he didn't do a lot of studying because he was practicing soccer. "I don't play games too much anymore."
There are a lot of occasions that Yutaro likes to celebrate in Japan, "The Shichi Go San festival, is a celebration of growth and well being for young children." Yutaro also mentioned that all the family gathers in the grandparents house to celebrate new years.
Yutaro has been a great addition to Waterville and we look forward to seeing great things.
