Mr. Brown has been at Waterville High School for some time now and he decided that this 2018-19 year will be his last.
Q: How do you feel about retiring?
A: He stated that he has looked forward to this for about a year now. He says it's gonna be a big change because over half his life he has been here and he loves being around the kids. He mentioned that his wife is the principal at Rock Island Elementary so he is planning on going in and reading to them sometimes, so he has that time with kids that he won't get here anymore. Mr. Brown also stated that he is going to get back into things he enjoyed such as skiing with some friends, hunting and fishing.
Q: what's one thing you have always dreamed of having?
A: To live in a home with at least 5 acres so he can work on it, he has always wanted that. It just hasn't worked out yet. He said maybe someday.
Q: What's something you like to do on your free time?
A: Activity's such as hunting, fishing and skiing. Seeing and spending time with grand kids is one of his favorites.
Q: What was your biggest win at the casino?
A: $18,630.79, he said he has won big many times, He grew up playing with his mom and she taught him many things. He says it's not an addiction, he just grew up doing it and knowing when to stop is important.
