Mr. Finkbiner

Mr. Finkbiner is the history teacher, AD and girls basketball coach at WHS. When he was younger he had dreams of playing college basketball and then moving on to the NBA to play professional basketball. He was also interested in playing football at Auburn University. When asked where he thought he wanted to live when he was growing up he said "You know, I can't really think of anywhere else I wanted to live other than Waterville, especially as I got older I think I knew I wanted to come back." I also asked him about the hardest thing he's ever had to do and he talked about a time in college when he was getting his masters degree. He and his friends would wait until the night their assignments were due to do them and he would get distracted watching movies while the others worked and would have to crank out all his work in an hour or so to meet his deadline. The most beautiful place Keith has ever been is Priest Lake Idaho because the sand there is just like the sand in Hawaii and you can walk into the water without shoes. He likes the fact that north Idaho is all forest and you can hike and have campfires and make s'mores during the cool nights.
