Question: Based on how the wand looks do you think it matches your personality? Answer: I do, I think it matches my personality very well. Question: In what sense? Answer: Well… I think the symbolism that's included fits my personality. I think the simplicity of how it's designed really says a lot about me. Over all its a solid, sturdy wand. Question: What do you think about the color of the wood? (redwood) Does it add to the simplicity in your opinion? Answer: Absolutely, just having it so that it's one color, I think it is a match to my personality and who I am. I look at it and I think “jeez that's just me.” Awesome, thank you for your time. Ms. Mires is our respected principal and superintendent at Waterville schools. She and Her daughter are fans of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling. Her wand is made of redwood which according to Ms. Rowling is an incredibly lucky wood, so I included a four leaf clover in the handle. At the base of the grip is a set of runes, Berkana which means mental growth, Wunjo which means joy as well as absence of suffering, Algiz which provides protection, and Uruz which grants strength. A simple wand but incorporates deep symbolism, a testament of what a principal should be.
